Goodbye 2010--Hello, the rest of my life

It's been a while since I've been here.  Mom died; Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas all happened.  I am proud to say that for the most part, we have kept up with our goal of regular exercise!  There have been weeks where we have to blow it off, but we get back on the program as soon as we are able.  Have I seen any changes in my body? NO. Do I feel any changes in my body? YES!  I feel stronger, more limber, and generally better.  PROGRESS!

One of the best things I did for myself was to buy the Michael Jackson Experience for the Wii.  I love to dance and it doesn't feel like exercise.  I have to be careful though--may brain is still a 19 year old dancer, my bosy is 41, fat and out of shape.  I will hurt myself if I'm not careful.  I so want those feelings in my body that I used to get when I danced.  There is nothing like it. 

In the new year I want to work on eating even more vegetables and fruits and fewer grains and sugars.  I've started my research on good lower carb dinners for the family. 

Hopefully, this piece will make the difference in this journey of weight loss, health, working mommy and life.
